Dry Shampoo Tips And Tricks
With this social distancing I’ve been hitting the dry shampoo pretty hard haha!
I did a collaboration with COLAB Dry Shampoo and seriously fell in love all over with dry shampoo. I have tried a few different brands and their products and have found that not all of them deliver. But after trying COLAB for about 2 weeks now, I can honestly say I’m a fan! No white residue, no build up, soaks up all the oils, and has a light fragrance.
As I was using this product it got me thinking about writing a blog post about the very easy tricks of how to properly use dry shampoo so I thought I would share!
Part your hair in the middle and brush it out.
I always part my hair in the middle so that it gives me the option of which part I truly want, keeping the most volume.
Divide your hair into sections as you spray the dry shampoo about 6 inches away from you.
I like to do two or three sections under the middle and back part.
Let your hair ‘marinate’ for 30 seconds before moving the product around with your hands.
You can also spray your roots before bed and let it really soak in there overnight!
Now you can add more curls or brush out your hair if you want!
Try to only brush the lower parts of the hair so you can maintain that dry shampoo volume.
*if you are wanting to add more volume to your up-do, you can spray more in your hair before you tease/back comb it.
And that’s it! Super easy! Once you get hooked on dry shampoo, you’ll never look back! A great way to maintain your hairstyle and also as a way to get you through until the next wash.
